Uk Songwriting Contest

The UK Songwriting Contest is one of the world's longest running and most popular and successful international songwriting events. It was launched in London in 2002 in association with prestigious bodies including The BRIT Trust (of BRIT Awards fame), The BRIT Studio, The BRIT School, Music Aid, The Guild Of International Songwriters and Composers, Roland UK and top British producers and industry professionals "to discover and encourage new songwriting talent and promote the craft of songwriting".

I entered this song 'The End of Faith' in 2021 and it achieved a 4-star (out of 5) rating as a Commended Entry.    The song was written to explore my loss of Faith in many aspects of my life including organised religion, as explored by Sam Harris in his book The End of Faith, which was an inspiration for this song.
